group words 06-07

There once was a time when we asked, and He gave, uniquely and purposefully. He is ever faithful and I loved the way He spoke through each of you! Remember?

Words from the Lord through His people united in asking for the message... these were from 2006-07, do you see the fruition... (these are in no particular order of their being given... but you will recall, I am sure!)

do you remember? What do you see now?

Humility

(the very beginning!)

Follow

(What is Christianity to you in one word? There is a growing gap between being a Christian and following Jesus)

Oneness

(do not be double-minded! Unity has to do with Who is the Head! What do we think power looks like? What does the real thing look like?)

Pray

Foundation

(What foundation is laid right now? Whatt are we building upon? Foundation is crucial)

Release Ownership

(prepare them for success, "you have no idea what they will go through for MY name... they have to have the covering ... it's not even an option!")

Purposeful

(without purpose we end up in self-dependence... do we rush towards the temporary?)

Recognize and Respond

(do you recognize the enemy? Who/What are we gonna listen to? In which reality will we choose to walk? What are we saying in the spiritual realm? The enemy responds ONLY to authentic authority!)

Focus

Right Passion

(Am I exerting passion into something that will produce lasting fruit? Am I called by God to the passions in which I am investing myself?)

Encourage the MOMs

Real or Counterfeit

(Kingdoms have a King... in the counterfeit it will seem right as we are the king making decisions on what is best for me. Do we do what brings life and the kingdom of God here on earth?)

Reign

(When something reigns there is a kingdom... there is a correlation to 'rain/reign'! What would it look like if we prayed for "reign"?)

Be

(Do the part of the body that you are... take off your shoes!)

Do not handle the holiness of God casually!

"For in Him we live and move and have our being..." Acts 17:28

Signs

(in the perspective of your circumstance, can you see the "signs" before you? God does nothing without revealing it somewhere... do you recognize the 'signs'?)

how do warriors "fight"?

Question: How do spiritual warriors fight the enemy?

Graham's reply:

Every step we take towards God is an offensive act against the enemy. When we love the Lord God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, we are literally offensive to the enemy. Spiritual warriors know this--when they fall in their humanity and sin, they repent quickly, because even that repentance is an offensive attack on the enemy. A band of warriors says to each other, "The enemy had better kill us, because if all he does is make us stumble, we'll come back even stronger than before." Repentance gives us even more confidence to enter the presence of God, because no penitent soul has ever been turned away by the Holy Spirit. And that boldness in coming to Him inspires others to do the same.

When we combine a supreme confidence in God with our own humility, we are given continuous access to God. Spiritual warriors practice the art of looking into the face of God--always striving to live one more day under His smile. We become preoccupied with His nature, and live a life in His presence.

We need to understand that every situation has been designed for us to discover more of God's presence and find access to even deeper levels. Confidence is the gateway to that presence. Our belonging there is part of our inheritance in Christ.
